This kid was my ELMER… back in 1960-1961, Billy K4TVE

This kid was my co-ELMER… back in 1961, Ed K4NVI

This kid was one of my classmates at Trumbull HS, CT, Brad K1YIX

I was an ELMER to this guy (Mike Rioux)… I convinced him to get a REAL license… he finally upgraded to General, then Extra after 20 years as a Technician

He became NW1J, then W1USN due to his Navy Career

This kid grew up to be somebody… K1ZND / K1ZZ Dave Sumner, current CEO of ARRL!

Mr Moonbounce himself… Joe Reisert / W1TR… worked him while at FD 1977 in Storrs, CT on 6 meters with a KWM-2 and 62S-1 and 3 el beam at 10 feet off the ground !

This guy, W2CVW, was my mentor during my NCS days in New Jersey Net (NTS Traffic) back in the early 1960’s, worked him again recently in the 2007 ARRL 160 CW Contest

This guy makes the N1MM logging software I use to win all those contests !

This guy invented a really good receiving loop, K9AY,  that I should get to do better in those contests, especially on 160 meters!

This guy, AA1K, is just about the only station on 160 CW Contests from Deleware at times

This is the club station from one of my Alma Mater schools
